Spring Fellowship 1988

[Spring Fellowship 1988]

This patch was a learning experience. Most importantly, I learned that squeezing letters together on the drawing does not give the patch company the ability to fit the letters on the patch itself. I like they way they made things fit by curving the letters, but the resulting patch would have looked much better as an oval than as a rectangle.

This is also the first of my designs to have been sent overseas; the actual quality of the embroidery leaves something to be desired.

The original design shows the compressed lettering; the Lodge Executive Committee changed the background color from black to dark blue.
